The Wait Is Finally Over – The Olive Grove Opens Its Doors in Formby Tomorrow!

There’s a brand new dining destination arriving in Formby tomorrow as The Olive Grove Restaurant & Bar officially opens its doors from 5pm on Friday 24th July, taking over the former Left Bank Restaurant at The Beacons on Halsall Lane.

The Olive Grove promises to bring something truly different to the village, combining the fresh, vibrant flavours of the Mediterranean with the rich, authentic taste and traditions of Sri Lankan cuisine.

The name “The Olive Grove” was chosen for a reason. The olive tree has long been a symbol of hospitality, peace and bringing people together—something the team hope will be at the heart of their new restaurant. Their vision is to create a welcoming place where family, friends and visitors can enjoy delicious food, handcrafted drinks and make lasting memories together.

Behind the scenes, the team say every dish starts with carefully selected, fresh ingredients, authentic herbs and spices, and a genuine passion for cooking. Their philosophy is simple:
