RTC on Liverpool Road Causes Traffic Chaos this morning and remains closed for another hour

A collision occurred at the junction of Liverpool Road and Birkey Lane earlier today, Friday 26th April, resulting in significant traffic congestion in the area. Police vans have been deployed to direct traffic as the road remains closed from the Cross House Inn.

The incident involved a silver Uber Taxi, which sustained extensive damage on the driver's side, and a wagon. Fortunately, there were no reported injuries, but the road closure is expected to remain in place until the vehicles are recovered by authorities.

Motorists are advised to seek alternative routes to avoid delays caused by the ongoing recovery operation.
