Partial Closure of Ward Avenue Due essential utility works

Ward Avenue in Formby is currently experiencing a partial closure due to essential utility works being carried out by Scottish Power. The road is closed to traffic in one lane, affecting access from the Queens Road end.

Motorists can still access Ward Avenue from the Kirklake Road end, but those attempting to enter from Queens Road will need to seek an alternative route. The closure is expected to last for a couple of days as crews work on repairing cables to restore power to some residents on Kirklake Road who are currently without electricity.
