One Gentleman, One Diva, and One Unbelievable Council Saga!

Dear Formby Bubble:
Thankyou to the real gentleman who parked with respect this morning outside a property close to the village; this was at 6.30am and I had the pleasure of speaking to him. All he was doing was going to work to earn an honest living.
In sharp contrast to the arrogance of a young female of the species, who, despite the poor bus driver beeping, parked her 4x4 in the bus bay, and walked off flicking and swinging her hair, stilettos clicking. The entitlement of some knows no bounds.
Last week the brown bin at one property was left unemptied. All the others were emptied. Twenty five minutes after being lectured about not being aggressive, a human answered. You can't report it on the same day (last Friday)...even though the bin lorry has well disappeared over the horizon. The process is too complex to mention.
Phoning back on Wednesday (bin still not emptied today), I was told that an 'officer' would come out to assess eligibility for 'assisted bin collection'. The criteria is very strict, if the officer sees an able bodied person around then it may be denied. Astonishing considering the circumstances!
You really couldn't make this up. I'm now really worried that an able bodied person might just be close by when the said 'officer' comes by. Assisted collection denied! Then, you have to phone up the council in ten days for another automated lecture, maybe to learn that on the day they came they chanced upon an able bodied person. No wonder the council is struggling for money.
