Police helicopter and dog section called to suspicious males on Argarmeols Road

This morning at approximately 10:50am, Merseyside Police were contacted by a concerned resident in Formby, reporting two suspicious males in Argarmeols Road.

The males had been seen entering the rear garden of a property which was unoccupied at the time. Police patrols attended and with the assistance of colleagues from British Transport Police, Force Helicopter and Dog Section, two males were located nearby and arrested on Suspicion of Burglary.

A break in to a residential property in the road was confirmed. This remains an on going investigation and further updates will follow.
