Firefighters called to three separate seats of fire in Formby woods

Merseyside Fire & Rescue were called to National Trust Formby on Victoria Road to three fires in the Pinewoods. Fire crews attended the scene at 9.06pm on Monday 19th June.

A spokesperson for Merseyside Fire & Rescue said: "One fire engine attended the incident, which involved three separate seats of fire."

"Crews used fire beaters and portable water devices to extinguish all three fires."

"No-one was injured in this incident."

The Firefighters remained at the scene for around 45 minutes.
