Formby Squirrels

Formby Squirrels Rotary Club and Friends, recently enjoyed a social get together by taking a Blue Badge Guided Tour around Southport.

The tour started and finished by the Carousel on the Promenade. The tour was led by Julie Kershaw from Liverpool Entente Cordiale Tours and was extremely informative. One member said “We should do more walks like this. I have learned so much!”

Although the evening stayed dry it was rather chilly. As a result of this walk several members have returned to Southport in order to walk along Lord Street just to admire the amazing buildings.

Formby Squirrels Rotary meet at 7.30pm on the second Thursday of each month at The Grapes, Formby and hold a social event at various locations every fourth Thursday.
