North west children’s charity receives £10,000 ‘boost’ from juice bar chain

North west charity Stick ‘n’ Step has announced a giant boost from Boost Juice Bars, with the news that the juice bar chain has raised a remarkable £10,000 for the charity so far this year and has pledged to support it throughout 2017 as well.

Boost Juice staff have raised the money for their 2016 Charity of the Year in a variety of ways including running marathons, being ‘Tough Mudders’ and even taking part in sky dives.

Presenting the £10,000 cheque at Boost Juice Bars’ annual staff conference at the Wild Boar Hotel in Tarporley, Cheshire, UK Co-Founders Richard and Dawn O’Sullivan said, “We have thrown ourselves behind our team’s fundraising efforts with great enthusiasm. Our staff at Boost Juice Bars should be very proud of what they have achieved so far to assist this fantastic charity, which does such great work in supporting children with cerebral palsy.”

Accepting the cheque on behalf of Stick ‘n’ Step, Matt Meaney said, “It costs Stick ‘n’ Step £4,000 for each child’s place every year. Such a huge donation from Boost Juice goes a long way to helping to make sure we can continue to offer the highest quality service to as many families as possible. The Boost Juice team have worked incredibly hard and have come up with some brilliant fundraising activities to support what we do. We’re delighted to have been chosen to benefit from their support and I would like to say thank you very much to everyone who took part – we really couldn’t do this without them. ”

Stick ‘n’ Step provides support services to children with cerebral palsy and their families. The charity works with over 70 children, allowing the children to gain the skills they need to live independent lives through conductive education sessions. The specialist sessions are provided free of charge to the families by Stick ‘n’ Step.
