This part-time role offers a highly challenging and rewarding opportunity to be a role model and mentor to young children, helping them build their confidence, discipline, fitness, flexibility, gross and fine motor control, attention span and determination.

Ideal Candidate:

1. Applicants must have a keen interest in teaching martial arts and enjoy working with children.

2.Chosen candidate will be provided with ongoing training in Taekwondo

3. Applicants must be physically fit and able to demonstrate the full range of martial arts techniques for the students (the successful applicant will receive very specific training in this area).

4. Good communication skills, particularly verbal, with both adults and children.

5. Fun, energetic, engaging with a positive can-do attitude.

6. Reliability is imperative.

7. We will need to conduct an enhanced DBS check prior to confirming the appointment.

8. Applicant must be at least 18 yrs old for this role.

Ideally:

1. Prior experience in coaching/teaching or working with young children

2. First aid trained

To be clear, this is definitely not a 'summer job' we require someone that is committed to pursuing this role for several years.
