FJSC U’6 Blacks took part in an Easter Tournament at Marine A.F.C. and reached the semi-final stage

Formby Junior Sports Club’s Under 6 Blacks took part in an Easter Tournament held at a sunny Marine A.F.C.  The boys played very well and reached the semi-final stage.

In the group stage FJSC gained victories overYoung Lions and Holy Rosary.  However playing on bigger pitches than the boys have been used to eventually took its toll when theteam played against a very good Pex Hill team in the semis.

Ollie Jones who was FJSC’s Player of the Tournament, Thomas Mitchell and Joshua Wright all scored one goal each. It was a great effort from all the boys who can be very proud of themselves.

This coming weekend the Inter Club Section will be back on again provided the pitches are fit as more rain is forecasted during the week.  Also the majority of the club’s Representative teams also have scheduled fixtures.

TASTER SESSIONS NEW FOUR YEAR OLDS AND RECEPTION

There will free TASTER SESSIONS from 10.45 -11.45 am each Saturday in April.  This is ideal for those who wish to give football a try.  It will include half an hour coaching which will be followed by a fun game of football. There will be no charge just come along.  ALL ARE WELCOME.
