Two incidents in Formby last night involving high speed pursuit with a Mercedes and a KTM motorcycle

The driver of the Mercedes pictured, rammed a police vehicle in Formby last night, Wednesday 20th September and proceeded to make off at high speed. A pursuit followed involving Disruption, Dogs and RPU before the vehicle was stopped.

The driver was arrested for a number of offences and the vehicle was seized. The driver also had his 14 year-old sister in the car with him.

Last night, Merseyside Police also had a pursuit of a KTM Motorcycle around Formby, the riders skill finally ran out and he had an unscheduled dismount from the vehicle into the arms of an awaiting officer.

The male was arrested for numerous offences.
