Southport to Liverpool trains are meeting with delays due to a line fire in Formby

A line side fire at Ravenmeols Lane crossing has caused the train to be at a standstill.

Emergency services are on site.

A spokesperson from Merseyrail said: “Due to a line side fire in the Formby area, Services on the Southport-Hunts Cross line are meeting with delay. Emergency services are on site.”
