Significant Emergency Response in Formby Yesterday Afternoon

Residents in Formby witnessed a significant emergency response at around 4pm on Tuesday 10 February after reports raised concerns for the safety of a man in the Lifeboat Road area.

Merseyside Police swiftly attended the scene, with around six police vehicles and several unmarked cars arriving on blue lights.
An ambulance also attended the scene at around 5pm.

Officers located the man, who was taken to hospital for assessment under the Mental Health Act.
The incident remained ongoing as of 5:10pm, with emergency services still present in the area.
