School vacancy

We are looking to appoint an enthusiastic, energetic Caretaker/Cleaner to join Team Redgate.

The successful candidate will be responsible for the maintenance, cleanliness and security of the school premises to a very high standard ensuring that the facilities and the environment of the school are safe for pupils and staff. Previous experience of working in a school or commercial environment in a similar role would be desirable.

The hours of work will be 25 hours per week. Each day will be worked on a split shift, 2 hours in the morning and 3 hours in the afternoon.

Salary NJC Grade D £19,312 Pro rata.

Due to the nature of work the above post is exempt from the provisions of the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act 1974 and relevant care/safeguarding legislation and appointment will only be confirmed if a satisfactory Enhanced Disclosure is obtained from the Criminal Records Bureau.
