Sainsbury’s opening date confirmed for #Formby

The wait is almost over! Sainsbury’s will officially open its brand new store on Liverpool Road in Formby on Thursday 24th September.

The new Sainsbury’s Local is opening at the former Everlast and LA Fitness site on Liverpool Road, which has undergone a major transformation over recent months.

We have been following the development closely on Formby Bubble, from the original plans and work taking place at the site to the recent recruitment of permanent staff for the new store.

Now we finally have the date everyone has been waiting for.

Sainsbury’s Formby will open on Thursday 24th September.

The new store will bring another shopping option to this part of Formby and is part of the wider redevelopment of the former gym site, which also includes Howdens.
