Park Wall Road in Lunt is closed due to a huge fallen tree until tomorrow

Please be aware that the back road from Sefton Church coming towards Formby on Park Wall Road, near the convent (just after the white crosses painted on the wall), is currently closed after a large tree fell around 10pm tonight due to the strong winds brought by Storm Amy.

Crews are on site now placing bollards, and the road will remain closed overnight while the tree is dealt with and the area made safe.

Winds are currently around 31mph with gusts exceeding 50mph, so please take extra care if you’re out and about tonight and avoid this area if possible.
