National Trust Formby have extended their opening hours from today
National Trust Formby have now extended their opening hours from today, Saturday 13th February.
A spokesperson for National Trust said: “We’ve listened to visitor feedback and brought forward Spring opening times to give local families access to fresh air and open space this half term.“
“Car parks will open until 5pm from Saturday 13th February, at times we may have to close earlier for safety reasons.“
“Victoria Road toilets are open until 4pm.“
You would be best to download the PayByPhone Parking app for a quick and contactless way to pay. Only coins can be used at the Pay and Display machines.
Both sites, that is Victoria Road in Freshfield (Squirrel Reserve) and Lifeboat Road, can be accessed at any time by both pedestrians and cyclists.
The spokesperson went on to say: “We know many local visitors are keen to make the most of the lighter evenings. We’ll continue to monitor visitor levels and anti-social behaviour and may have to change opening times at short notice.”
”In line with government guidance our car parks are open during half term for local visitors to exercise.”
“Thanks for helping us open safely by following government guidelines and staying local”
