Mr George Rodda received the 50 year service award from the Rotary International Organisation

At a packed evening last week in the Formby Club, Formby Rotarians were proud to witness Mr George Rodda (JP) receive from Norman Waddel (the District Governor of North Wales and Merseyside), the very cherished 50 Year Service Award from the Rotary International Organisation.

The President of Formby Rotary reflected on how George had made such a difference over the years in the Service of his club and in the Community and twice led the club as their President.

It is amazing that Rotarian George who has supported and participated in the Rotary Xmas Village Carol Wagon event for 50 years will again this year be a helper on the Wagon.
