Labour Retains Formby East And Formby West In Sefton Council Elections

Labour has retained control of both Formby East and Formby West following the Sefton Council elections, winning all six available seats across the two wards.
In Formby East, Labour candidates Catie Page, Chris Page and Anthony Howe were all elected.
In Formby West, Karen Cavanagh, Peter Harvey and Carol Richards secured victory for Labour.
The results mean Labour continues to hold a strong position in Formby despite challenges from Reform UK and the Conservatives, who both increased their share of the vote across the area.
The election count took place at Aintree Racecourse Equestrian Centre as part of the full Sefton Council elections.
