I want to share with you a positive and inspiring story to begin our week 💚

I almost died from addiction in late 2013, which began a path of recovery. It's not all been easy, but I've achieved a lot in that time (two degrees and a written a book). I hit number one in the charts at the weekend, thanks to the support of people in Merseyside and those who've helped me along the way. Its not every day a recovering addict defeats the richest man in Britain. I hope I've made the region proud, to call me one of their own 💚

Hopefully my journey of recovery can inspire others too. Life can change at any moment.
