Incident Near Home Bargains, Formby

There was a large emergency services response on Stephenson Way, Formby, near Home Bargains, last night, Thursday 18th September.

A spokesperson from the North West Ambulance Service confirmed they were called at 5:59pm to reports of a ‘workplace incident’.

An ambulance crew, advanced paramedic, duty officer, and the Air Ambulance Critical Care Team all attended the scene.

One man was taken to hospital to be treated for his injuries.

There was also a heavy police presence in the area while emergency services responded.
