Formby residents can finally breathe a sigh of relief as the village’s main Post Office on Brows Lane is set to re-open today, Friday 14th November, at 1:00pm.

The temporary and unplanned closure earlier this week caused understandable concern across the community, especially for those relying on essential postal and banking services. Today, however, the Post Office Press Office confirmed the welcome update.

A Post Office spokesperson said:

“We are pleased to announce that Formby Post Office is re-opening tomorrow (Friday 14/11) at 1pm. We apologise for any inconvenience caused by the temporary, unplanned, closure of this branch. We hope to be re-opening other branches in the Liverpool area this month and we will provide details as soon as possible.”
