🌸 Formby’s Summer flower transformation begins and it’s looking spectacular 🌸

If you have been through Formby Village today, Wednesday 3rd June, you may have noticed a splash of colour beginning to appear across the area.

The annual summer planting programme is now underway, with the Award Winning team from James Comish Landscape & Horticulture busy transforming the planters throughout Formby. Yesterday, the old displays were removed and today the new summer flowers started going in.

Working on behalf of Formby Parish Council, James and his team are once again planting the beautiful displays that brighten up Formby Village, Redgate shops and for the first time, this year, Harington Road shops. The three tier planters are being filled with vibrant flowers, while hanging flowers in the baskets along the railings to create a stunning summer display.

And this is only the beginning. The planting work will continue throughout this week and next week, with Formby’s roundabouts also set to receive their colourful summer makeover.
