Formby Post Office Delays Re-Opening Again – Now Set for Monday Morning at 9am

In a disappointing turn for residents, the Formby Post Office on Brows Lane will not be reopening today at 1pm as previously announced by the Post Office Press Office.

We have now been informed that the branch will instead re-open on Monday 17th November at 9:00am.

The delay is due to staff needing additional time to complete a full stock take and organise essential internal work inside the branch before it can operate safely and efficiently. The Post Office has apologised for any inconvenience this change may cause.

Many residents were relieved to hear earlier that the temporary closure was coming to an end, so this last-minute alteration will understandably frustrate those who rely heavily on the service — especially during the busy winter period.
