Both swimming pools are CLOSED at Formby Pool

Formby Pool closures confirmed as refurbishment works take place

Formby Pool Trust has confirmed temporary closures of both its main and learner pools as essential refurbishment works are carried out.

The main pool closed on Thursday 26th March and will remain shut until Tuesday 31st March. It is currently scheduled to reopen on Wednesday 1st April.

The learner pool closed slightly later, from Saturday 28th March, and will also remain closed until Tuesday 31st March, with plans to reopen on Wednesday 1st April.

During this period, there will be no public swimming in either pool, and swimming lessons have been temporarily suspended. Customers affected by lessons will receive refunds, which are due to be processed in May via direct debit.

Formby Pool Trust has apologised for any inconvenience caused and thanked customers for their patience while improvements are made to the facilities.
