Another sinkhole appears in Formby as Dowhigh block the road for repairs

Sinkholes seem to be a major issue lately in Formby with Liverpool Road, Green Lane, Freshfield Station and now Kirklake Road.

Dowhigh have closed off Kirklake Road from the junction of Ward Avenue whilst they repair the sinkhole which is in the middle of the road. Diversions are in place and the work should hopefully be completed later this afternoon, Thursday 29th June.
