Air Ambulance Lands in Formby Following Medical Emergency

An air ambulance was called to Formby on Friday 22nd May at around 2pm following a medical emergency at a residential property just off Liverpool Road.
The aircraft was initially due to land on the field at Redgate School. However, due to obstacles on the field, it was unable to do so and instead safely landed on the nearby field on Bills Lane.
The air ambulance was operating as a doctor led response, with a specialist doctor attending the scene to provide urgent medical care.
Following assessment, the patient was transported to Aintree Hospital by land ambulance, while the air ambulance later departed the area to Aintree to collect its team.
Emergency services remained on scene for some time while the incident was dealt with. At this stage, no further details have been released.
