Open Day at Formby Village Tennis Club on Saturday 28th March

Formby Village Tennis Club are hosting an Open Day on Saturday 28th March and invite all-comers to go along and sample their gleaming new facilities at their site on Rosemary Lane (Behind Holy Trinity Church). A spokesperson for the club said: “Over the last 5 months the club has invested over £20k in improving our facilities in the heart of Formby Village.” “In October our 4 all-weather courts were refurbished by artificial surface specialists AstroCare and are playing better than ever. Last month saw the upgrading of our lighting with the installation of a state-of-the-art LED lighting system that not only greatly improves night-time play but also delivers a planet friendly saving of circa 60% on power usage.” “Formby Village Tennis Club is now geared up for the coming season and delighted to be offering our much-improved facilities to its current members and also looking forward to seeing some potential new members coming to play on our Open Day.” Everyone welcome.
