We are currently recruiting for our Heads of Departments to join our team at Formby Manor Care Centre, Formby, Liverpool, L37 6BU. Formby Manor Care Centre is opening in June 2019 so we are therefore looking for a early June start. Activities Coordinator, 30 hours permanent contract, must be flexible. £9.21 per hour. Skills and experience required: Experience of working with older people is essential. Experience of delivering an activity programme is essential. Evidence of the ability to assess, plan and evaluate the activity needs of older people is essential. The ability to work individually and in a team is essential. Good communication and interpersonal skills are essential Demonstrate the ability to prioritise and handle emergency situations effectively Be creative, imaginative and enthusiastic and have the ability to forward plan Home Trainer, 40 hours permanent contract, £10.00 per hour. Skills and experience required: To coordinate all aspects of education in the home. Experience in the health and social care sector is essential. Experience in the care home industry is desirable. Hold appropriate qualification - Cert Ed, C&G 7300, 7303, 7304 or equivalent. ·Possess good Understanding of VQs. Current Moving and Handling training qualification. Plan, coordinate, deliver and evaluate education in the Home. Implement excellent organizational skills. Posses the ability to coordinate and motivate a team. Head Housekeeper, 30/40 hours permanent contract, £9.21 per hour. Skills and experience required: Background in commercial cleaning in a hotel, care or hospital environment. Experience in managing a team of housekeepers. Excellent communication and organisation skills. Experience of Auditing and stock control and legislation e.g. COSHH. Head Chef, 40 hours, Hourly rate £11.50-£14.00 (depending on experience) Skills and experience required: To be able to work independently and organise other members of the kitchen team is essential. Experience of working during busy meal periods including breakfast and evening meal service is essential. Experience of working in a care home or similar is essential. Knowledge of specialised diets and service delivery is essential. Ability to contribute and develop the four week menu is essential. Ability to complete records demonstrating adherence to legal requirements is essential. Maintenance Manager, 40 hours permanent contract available. £10.00-£12.00.
