Formby man arrested Friday 6th February and charged with Sexual Assault

We can confirm that detectives have charged a Formby man with sexual assault as part of an ongoing investigation.
On Friday 6 February, a report was received of a woman having been sexually assaulted at a premises in Sefton. The victim is being supported by specialist officers as enquiries continue.

A man was arrested in Formby on Friday morning and was taken into custody for questioning.
Gregg Finnemore, 46, of Chapel Lane, has now been charged with Sexual assault on a female and was remanded in custody to appear yesterday, Monday 9 February.
