Major Plans Revealed to Make Crossing Formby Bypass Safer for Everyone

Sefton Council is asking local residents for their views on proposals to improve several junctions around the A565 Formby Bypass.
The plans follow feedback from people who say the bypass can be difficult to cross when walking, using a wheelchair or mobility aid, or cycling.
The proposed improvements aim to make crossings safer and more accessible, while also creating better connections with existing local and national cycling routes, including the Coastal Road and National Cycle Network Route 62.
Sefton Council is particularly keen to hear from people who regularly walk, wheel or cycle around the area and is asking residents to provide constructive feedback on the proposals.
