Con woman in Formby has targeted a number of people

Merseyside Police are urging people in Formby to be vigilant following reports that a woman has tried to persuade people to give her small quantities of cash under false pretences. A report was received on Saturday 23 February that a woman has approached a number of people in Formby claiming she needs to top up her electricity and offering to pay the victims back once she gets paid at a later date, but failing to do so. She is described as being aged in her 40s, of slim build, with olive skin and long dark hair.
