Owner of the dog that attacked five people in Formby yesterday speaks out to Formby Bubble about how heartbroken he is that people got hurt.
Theodoro Tirimou said: "We never intended anyone to get hurt, the dog was brought up around children I don’t know what happened yesterday. My mum was cleaning the cage and the dog was in the garden playing."
"The dog was never vicious towards anyone. He got walked every night for two hours. I’ve never mistreated my dogs and never would. Yesterday was a serious mistake that I wish I could have prevented, but I couldn't. I’m so sorry to those that got hurt, my heart is broken."
Theodoro went on to say: "Goodnight Simba, today has been devastating, I miss you already and I love you lots, my best friend, always in my heart, just can't believe what has happened."
