Bella the beautiful Staffy Cross finally has a home
One of the dogs we featured twice in the rehoming appeals, Bella, has finally found a home! Beautiful Staffy Cross Bella came to Freshfields Animal Rescue Centre almost a year ago. She was due to be put to sleep as her owner was nervous about her being around her grandchildren, and also they had a new puppy in the house. Despite some initial interest in Bella, this friendly girl could not find her Special One and was becoming depressed in Kennels.
In the last few weeks, Marjorie Jones came forwards and expressed an interest in Bella. When they met it was love at first sight, and on Saturday Bella went home. Bella takes up the story: I keep closing my eyes and opening them again to check it isn't just a dream! I really do have my own home! I'm really settling into my new home and venturing out to lots of new and interesting places. I loved watching the geese on my walks, but I'm still unsure what they are! Mum lets my lounge on the sofa while we watch Paul O'Grady and she even lets me sleep on her bed. I've fell right on my paws here! Lots of grunts and belly rubs' Bella.
