Formby man arrested on suspicion of drug driving

Merseyside Police have arrested a Formby man on suspicion of drug driving following an incident in Southport in the early hours of this morning, Tuesday 3 March.

A Police spokesperson said: "At around 1.10am, patrols sighted a Ford Fiesta driving at speed which failed to stop. The car was subsequently stopped on Southport Road a short time later and a 30-year-old man from Formby was arrested on suspicion of drug driving."
