RTC on Ravenmeols Lane - Road is closed

The road has now re-opened

Ravenmeols Lane remains closed after emergency services were called to an RTC this morning around 8:30am involving a white Audi A3 car and a school minibus from St. Mary's College.

The road remains closed on Ravenmeols Lane between Birkey Lane and the roundabout on Liverpool Road.

Four ambulances and police are at the scene. We have been informed that the children are all okay. A spokeswoman said: "The occupants were left 'shaken up' but it is believed that nobody is seriously hurt."

We do not have any more details at the moment but will keep you updated on the situation. The road will remain closed for quite a while.
