New football team in Formby - Altown FC Under 8's sponsored by Right at Home Sefton

Formby has a new football team! Altown FC (under 8’s) will be representing our town each weekend in the Hightown and Walton and Kirkdale Leagues. Managers Andrew Coyne and Carl McBride believe the boys have a really good chance of success having already seen them win the Ormskirk Cup in their first pre-season tournament.

The coaches told us: "We feel very fortunate to be leading such a talented and eager bunch of children, the team spirit is excellent and the support from the parents is great, both are exactly what we need, our job is to ensure the boys enjoy every minute of the games they play."

To help, the boys have received sponsorship from another new start up local Home Care Company, 'Right at Home Sefton'. Directors James Levine and Jonathan Beckett explained: "We support Health and wellbeing in all ages and we always aim to invest locally when we see an opportunity to help support active lifestyles. We are a brand new company and to support the boys and get our own company name out there is a double bonus and we wish the team the very best of luck!"
