Formby based Football team had their first league game

Scarisbrick Hall FC 4 v Sandbrook FC 0
The first league game for Scarisbrick Hall, a Formby based Football team, was a meeting with newly promoted Sandrook FC at Duke St Park on Sunday morning.
The Southport and District Football League First Division game was a close encounter for the first half, with both teams having chances but failing to score.
Scarisbrick Hall started to play the better football in the second half and were rewarded with a goal shortly after the break with Leewis O Reilly scoring his first of the season.
The home team went further ahead when they were awarded a penalty and Ben Grogan stepped up to blast it in the top corner 2-0
Sandbrook started to tire and Scarisbrick Hall took full advantage with a further two goals both scored by Josh Giblin (pictured)
Next week sees Scarisbrick Hall at home again at Duke St park to AFC Sefton kick off 11.00am.
