Merseyrail Strike Action this Saturday and Monday

Merseyrail will be affected on Saturday 8th July and Monday 10th July by Strike Action.
A limited service is in operation between the hours of approx 0700-1800.

Unfortunately due to strike action by guard members of the RMT Union, a reduced train service will run across the Merseyrail network on Saturday 8th and Monday 10th July.
Trains will run from around 07:00 - 19:00 and some stations will be closed. Full timetables are listed below.
PLEASE NOTE:
There will be no trains running on Ellesmere Port, Hunts Cross and Kirkby lines.

23rd July Strike Action
Strike action has also been announced for Sunday 23rd July, the final day of The Open golf championship at Royal Birkdale. A revised train timetable for 23rd July will be released nearer the time.
Timetables for 8th and 10th July
Southport to Hunts Cross via Liverpool:

There will be no trains between Liverpool Central and Hunts Cross.
Trains will not call at Aigburth, Bank Hall, Bootle Oriel Road, Brunswick, Cressington, Freshfield, Hall Road, Hunts Cross, Liverpool South Parkway, Sandhills and St Michaels stations.
Hunts Cross to Southport via Liverpool:

There will be no trains between Hunts Cross and Liverpool Central.
Trains will not call at Aigburth, Bank Hall, Bootle Oriel Road, Brunswick, Cressington, Freshfield, Hall Road, Hunts Cross, Liverpool South Parkway, Sandhills and St Michaels stations.
