The Ginsider 2017 starts TODAY - Gin festival deep in the woods

The Ginsider 2017 is the newest Gin festival to hit the Formby area today and tomorrow from 1pm to 11:45pm.

Brand new events company, Changing Events is adding a twist on a picnic in the woods. The Ginsider 2017 is the newest Gin festival to hit the Formby/Hightown area.

This weekend, the event takes place Saturday 3rd and Sunday 4th June in Orrell Hill Woods.

This is the first event of it's kind Changing Events has put on, yet plans are already in place to make it an annual festival. This launch event is going to be held in Orrell Hill Woods, Orrell Hill Land, known for it's Christmas Grotto and helicopter rides.

Changing Events is a new bespoke events company created by entrepreneur Anthea Thomas who is dedicated to providing the area with a new boutique festival to be proud of. The selection of over 70 Gins will be excellent with an array of types and mixers to pair.

The festival will be held deep in the woods, with live music, hot food and of course plenty of Gin! There will also be a selection of ciders, continental beers, wine and cocktails.

Sandgrounder Radio will be broadcasting live from the event across the two days, Some of the UK’s top tribute acts are appearing at this event, such as Rhapsody - The Queen Tribute band and Definitely Oasis headlining on the Sunday. This event will also be showcasing local talent with Kim Fox, Under the Sun and Over the Moon, Danny Mahon and Seamus McGloughlin.

Worried about the weather? Don’t be, there is camping available onsite plus team are working on ensuring come rain or shine the event is the HOT topic of the summer. Tickets are selling fast, the early bird tickets went faster than expected so don’t miss out.
