Range High School receives £400k for building improvements
Range High Receives £0.4m for Building Improvements. Range High School announced this week that it has been awarded nearly £0.4m of funding to replace a section of the school’s roof.
This funding comes a year after the school secured £90k for its windows replacement programme and 3 years after receiving £0.5m to refurbish its Science facilities. The funding, from the Education Funding Agency, is part of £466m released by the Government to help improve school facilities across the country.
Mr Aldridge, Headteacher, said: “This successful capital funding bid will enable us to continue to update our facilities and it will complement the previous capital works carried out on site."
This roofing work is scheduled to begin in June 2017 and is expected to be completed by the following September in time for the new school year.
