This will be a lovely family day to help raise money for Bravery boxes. This charity was set up by a lady whose life was turned upside down through childhood cancer. The Bravery Boxes was the result of her wanting to bring something positive out of a very challenging situation. The boxes are now in many hospitals around the country, including Alder Hey.

Sunday 14th May - 11am

Meet at St Jerome's Church Carpark

The walk will take you 2 1/2 miles through Formby woods - £10 per family

Please come along and enjoy the day. 100% of the money raised will go towards the Bravery Boxes.

When a child has to endure a painful or frightening medical procedure, the Bravery Box is there to help, full of little pocket money prizes. The distraction of choosing a prize tends to stop tears, sooth the pain and bring out a smile.

The feedback from the nurses and play leaders is that it really works!
