RTC on Alt Road in Formby on Easter Monday

Merseyside Police were called to an RTC on Alt Road in Formby today at approx 4:30pm.

One car was upside down on its roof with windows all smashed and the second car was at the side of the road with back wheel damage.

The elderly, male driver of the black Renault Clio was taken to hospital but was not thought to have serious injuries. In the second vehicle, which was parked and was stationary on the road at the time of impact, there was a female who was suffering from shock.

No more details are known at the moment but we do hope everyone is alright.
