Multi-vehicle accident on Formby Bridge on Saturday morning

An RTC in Formby at approximately 10am on Saturday morning, 18th March. Several vehicles were involved at the bottom of Formby Bridge and Duke Street.

The road was cordoned off and traffic redirected by helpful people at the scene of the smash.

Substantial damage occurred to several vehicles.

Police arrived with traffic cones. It took approx one hour and a half to re-open the bridge.
