Two men have been arrested after Formby burglary

Two men have been arrested after a Formby burglary between Midnight and 8am this morning.

Thieves who broke into a Formby home last night and made off with purses, phones and photography equipment have been arrested.

Two men, both from Bootle, were arrested on suspicion of burglary at around 9am today, Thursday February 23rd.

A spokesperson for Merseyside Police said: “Officers were called to Coniston Road to a report of a burglary at around 9am today.

“It was reported thieves had forced entry to the property between midnight and 8am and taken photography equipment, phones and purses.”

The men, aged 41 and 57, have been taken to a police station in Merseyside to be interviewed.
