A 21-year-old charged after car stolen in Formby

A 21 year-old man has been charged with motoring offences after being detained by officers in Liverpool. Dean Colquhoun, of Royton Road, Waterloo, was charged with disqualified driving, unauthorised taking of a motor vehicle, dangerous driving and using a motor vehicle on a road/public place without insurance. He was arrested by officers in the South Chester Street area of Dingle area of Liverpool on Tuesday 22 February as part of an investigation into the theft of a car in Formby. Colquhoun appeared before Liverpool, Knowsley and St Helens Magistrate's court yesterday (Wednesday 22 February) and was remanded in custody.
