Crosby A secure top place at Southport and Formby League

Crosby A took over the number one spot at Division One of the Southport and Formby Table Tennis League.

A commanding win at Argyle B, which means that they are now level on 77pts with Crosby C, who themselves helped the A team cause by overcoming an again understrength Crosby B 3-7.

Getting back to Division One, at the top, Crosby A lead Crosby C, both being 4pts ahead of Crosby B (73pts), but with the A team having matches in hand on both their rivals. Waddington B and Southport A were involved in a very close match, where neither team had more than a one point lead. Southport’s number one Miro Veliky with a full quota of wins, being the stand out performance.
