Merseyside Police appeal for help after a break-In at Village News in Formby
Village News in Formby was targeted by thieves last night, Tuesday 15th November. The thieves entered the through the roof of the property on Halsall lane in Formby.
A spokeperson from Merseyside Police said: "Merseyside Police is appealing for help from the public following a burglary at a newsagent in Formby. At about 9.50pm on Tuesday evening 15th November, Officers were called to Village News, The Cloisters off Halsall Lane to a report of security alarm sounding."
"The offenders forced entry through a section of roof before making an untidy search of a room upstairs. At this stage it is not thought anything was taken."
