Silver car crashed and abandoned in a ditch in Formby

A silver car believed to be a Nissan or a Renault has gone into a ditch across the moss and been left with its tail end up in the air.

The vehicle was seen being towed to the New Causeway at the beginning of the week and left there. It has foreign number plates on it and has been sat there ever since until today when it could have potentially been shunted into the ditch.

Merseyside Police can confirm that the vehicle crashed into the ditch just before 6pm tonight, Friday 28th October. The vehicle was on the New Causeway and was left abandoned. Merseyside Police do not know if anybody was hurt in the accident because it was abandoned.
