Council to explore the creation of a Sefton Housing Company

Sefton Council is set to explore the creation of a Sefton Housing Company following feedback from the Sefton 2030 Vision Consultation.

Currently the borough requires over 11,000 new homes and the aim of any future company would be to ensure that the Council plays its part, along with the private and third sector, to create and develop strong communities across the borough.

Following approval by Cabinet, Sefton Council will now begin investigations into the validity of the housing company and will report back its findings before any final approval or decision are made.
